U.S. Marine Capt. Devin McAtee, operations officer, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point Provost Marshal’s Office (PMO) explains how MCAS Cherry Point PMO promotes a “one team, one fight” mentality. PMO is an integrated workforce consisting of military and civilian Law Enforcement Officials. The mission of PMO is to provide law enforcement, investigative and security services.

After retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps as a sergeant major, John Partin, still felt the desire to serve his country. Partin currently serves as a corporal as a field training officer with Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (MCAS) Provost Marshal’s Office (PMO). Partin is responsible for ensuring that all law enforcement training is conducted and maintained within his platoon.

The Marines and officers of PMO work day in and day out as the first line of security to ensure the safety of the Marines, Sailors and civilians of this base. PMO answers calls day or night so from time to time they need a chance to step away from work and relax. So here is your chance to meet a Marine, Lance Cpl.
