Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a 2-day training program used by professionals and the public that teaches participants how to assist individuals at risk for suicidal thinking, behavior, and attempts. ASIST allows participants to learn about suicide, gain skills to reach out for assistance, and build confidence to help save a life. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Vincent Pham)
