U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Raul Martinez, the staff non-commissioned officer in charge of Recruiting Substation Central Michigan, helped the victims of a car accident near Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Oct. 8, 2022. The victims of the car accident only spoke Spanish, so Martinez stayed on the scene to translate for the ambulance. He rode with them to the hospital, continuing to translate for several hours.
