The U.S. Marine Corps conducted two concurrent large-scale bilateral exercises with allied forces across the first island chain from northern Japan and through the Philippines, from Oct. 1-14, 2022. More than 5,500 personnel participated in Resolute Dragon 22 in Hokkaido, Japan and in KAMANDAG 6 across Luzon, Batanes, and Palawan in the Philippines. In November 2022, two additional exercise, Katana Strike and Keen Sword, will commence. Putting the knowledge and skills learned in the prior exercises into action. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt.
