U.S. Marines assigned to the 31 st Marine Expeditionary Unit, Battalion Landing Team 2/1, Marine
Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Rein.), and Combat Logistics Battalion 31, conducted trainings to certify
all the elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force capabilities for future operations. The 31st MEU,
the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready
to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific
