U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Micah D. Horney, a native of Phoenix, Arizona,graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Training as the honor graduate of EchoCompany, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, SanDiego, California, Feb 9, 2024. Horney was recruited by Staff Sgt. MichaelStachowski out of Marine Recruit Sub Station Deer Valley, Arizona.Graduation took place after the completion of the 13-week transformationprocess, which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combatskills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions.
