Named after the 37th Commandant of the Marine Corps, the state-of-the-art Neller Center was established in order to advance Marine Corps strategy through threat assessment, concept development, live force experimentation, and cutting-edge technology. The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory demonstrates its multi-domain capabilities executing simultaneous operations on air, land and sea as part of Project Convergence Capstone 4, March 8, 2024 at Camp Pendleton, CA. PC-C4 is an Army-hosted, Joint-Service and multinational experiment. During PC-C4, the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory tested new technologies and capabilities and emerging concepts, including the multi-domain corridor. Marine Corps participation in PC-C4 supported Force Design initiatives, integrated Joint force and coalition capabilities into experimentation, and demonstrated the Marine Corps' commitment to the Joint Warfighting Concept. A dual-military family, Marine Gunnery Sgt. Gizelle Katchka and Staff Sgt. Kyle Katchka and their two daughters have faced hardships typical military families don't: having both parents deploying at the same time and leaving their children behind. The Katchka's are now stationed aboard Quantico and not expecting to deploy simultaneously again. Gizelle is the logistics director for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, and Kyle is the Funeral Director at Marine Barracks Washington, District of Columbia.

U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 3 and Marine Wing Support Detachment 24, undergo a tactical fabrication course using 3D printers on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Sept. 17-19, 2018. U.S Marines with 2nd Marine Division tested remote controlled craft made through additive manufacturing, or 3-D printing, at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 26-27, 2017. The unmanned aerial system vehicle are designed to cater to individual missions based on distance, endurance, and carrying capacity needs. By creating a system that is easier to set up and more cost effective than traditional UAS devices, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory hopes to revolutionize the way troops conduct assignments. Marines with the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory along with Marines of Company B, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, concluded the first two weeks of a limited objective experiment aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 13, 2015. The event included the integration of Internally Transported Vehicles with infantry battalions to improve the way troops operate on the ground. The experiment’s objective is to provide MCWL with an understanding of how the vehicles will be added to the battalions. The second part of the experiment will take place in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., which will provide the Marines with extensive amounts of terrain over a 3-week training period.
