U.S. Marines train alongside joint partners and NATO allies across land, air, and sea to strengthen deterrence and enhance collective defense. Exercise Cold Response 26 is a Norwegian national readiness and total defense exercise that takes place across northern Norway and parts of Finland, with participation from the United States, NATO and a dozen NATO allies. U.S. Marines and other U.S. forces are focused on training alongside NATO members to enable Europe's capacity to position NATO for success and effective deterrence.
