2.  Background.  The AMM Symposium, chaired by the Total Force Structure Division (TFSD) Navy Branch/Budget Submitting Office (BSO)-27 provides Activity Manning Managers and G1 representatives an opportunity to discuss current and future initiatives, address emergent issues, and shape equities across manpower and personnel functions.  A primary goal of this forum is to increase communication between Navy Branch TFSD/BSO-27 and the AMM community supporting all elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and supporting establishments (SE).
3.  Intent.  The intent of this symposium is to educate, align force concepts, and assess Navy manpower, while providing a training continuum with topics of interest and best practices that have strengthened manpower processes in support of the Marine Corps active and reserve Force 2025 initiatives.
4.  Method.  Navy Branch, TFSD staff will serve as the symposium facilitators.  In order to reduce costs associated with the symposium, and to ensure compliance with the reference, the list of invited attendees is limited.  A list of invited personnel will be provided via separate correspondence.  Request each command confirm attendance via email to the Navy Branch TFSD POCs listed above NLT Monday, 29 April 2019.  Requests for additional attendees will be coordinated through the POCs on a case by case basis.
5.  End State.  The Navy Branch, TFSD will publish a summary of the symposium proceedings upon completion.  As directed, Navy Branch TFSD will consolidate any relevant information related to symposium decisions, recommendations, or required follow-up.
6.  Administration and Logistics.  This event will span 3 days, from Wednesday, 8 May to Friday, 10 May.  Tuesday, 7 May and Saturday, 11 May are considered travel days.  A tentative schedule of events will be provided NLT Tuesday, 30 April 2019.
