1.  PURPOSE.  This MARADMIN provides guidance as it relates to the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) User Portal.  The intent of the portal is to provide a one-stop, self-help gateway for Marine Corps information technology (IT) users.
2.  BACKGROUND.  The Marine Corps transitioned from a Government Owned(SLANT)Contractor Operated IT service model to a Government Owned(SLANT)Government Operated(SLANT)Contractor Supported IT services environment. In support of this transition, the Hewlett Packard Enter prise Services (HPES) Homeport Portal was discontinued on 30 April 2014.  The MCEN User Portal is the replacement for the HPES Homeport Portal.
3.  MCEN USER PORTAL INFORMATION.  The MCEN User Portal is available at https:(DOUBLESLASH)homeport.usmc.mil and is CAC enabled.  This portal provides IT self-help resources, news, training, and other useful USMC and DOD links in support of all Marine Corps users.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
5.  Questions regarding this message can be addressed to the POCS identified above.
