GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  This MARADMIN is to announce the results of the 2016 HQMC, Manpower Management Career Planner Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge.
2.   Background.  The Career Planner Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Year Award was established to recognize outstanding performance within the active duty career planning SNCOIC force.
3.   Per the ref, on 7 November 2016, a selection board convened to consider the nominations submitted.  All nominees had exemplary records indicating noteworthy leadership and ability. The result of the board is as follows:
Career Planner SNCOIC of the Year:  SSgt C. W. Harriman 2D MAW
4.  The Career Planner SNCOIC of the Year Selectee will be awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal from the Director, Manpower Management.
5.  Congratulations to SSgt Harriman.  Your performance in a vital area is commendable and has directly impacted the Marine Corps in a positive and enduring manner.  Keep charging.
