GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  To announce the results of the directed eligibility screening for Marine Security Guard School, listed in references (a) and (b).
2.  Results.  The initial screening was completed on 1 November 2016.
2.a.  Qualified Marines.  Class assignments on all currently qualified Marines have been issued based on the needs of the Marine Corps and recommendations by Unit Commanders.  The roster of assigned Marines will be released via Naval Message and Total Force Retention System (TFRS).
2.b.  Unqualified Marines.  All unqualified Marines will be released back to their PMOS monitor for assignment based on needs of the MOS.
2.c.  Unsubmitted packages and incomplete screenings.  As of the release date of this message, 147 Marines have not completed Phase II screening.  Commands, whose Marines have not yet completed a Phase II screening with Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCESG), are directed to ensure their Marines contact the MCESG Recruiting Advertising Screening Team (RAST) at 703-784-4861 or 703-432-2701, 0800-1700 EST Monday-Friday, no later than 12 January 2017.  Command compliance with deadlines identified in reference (a) will be assessed by the HQMC non-compliance board in accordance with reference (d).
3.  Coordinating Instructions.  Commanders are reminded that they must recertify Marines between 60 and 45 days prior to their SDA class date in accordance with reference (d).  Failure to properly rescreen Marines for SDA will result in a determination of noncompliance.
4.  Release authorized by MajGen Craig Q. Timberlake, Director, Manpower Management Division.//
