GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  To announce the results of the CY2018 Congressional Fellowship Program (CFP) for SNCOs.  A board comprised of senior leaders met for 8 weeks to screen and interview select qualified Marines for assignment.  The SNCOs designated as selectees were selected on a highly competitive board amongst their eligible peers.  Competition was particularly keen and all applicants are commended for their superior career achievements.
2.  The CY2018 Congressional Fellowship Program SNCO selectees are as follows:

3.  PCS/PCA orders to the Congressional Fellowship Program (MCC K20) will be coordinated via separate correspondence by HQMC Personnel Management Division.  Selectees are directed to report NET  than 1 September 2017 and NLT 29 September 2017 to the CY18 Congressional Fellowship Program (MCC K20), Marine Corps Office of Legislative Affairs, Pentagon, Washington DC for duty in billet MOS 8006.
4.  While on the above duty, SNM will be carried on the rolls of HQSVCBN, HQMC, HH, Arlington, VA for administrative purposes, Annual Training completion, Legal, Medical and Administrative reporting requirements.  Include in orders:  cite MARCORSEPMAN para 2003 and 5002 regarding obligation incurred as a result of attending the Congressional Fellowship Program.  Execution of these orders obligates the SNM concerned to 36 months additional active duty consisting of a 12 month fellowship and 24 month utilization tour in the National Capital Region.  Request for voluntary retirement with less than 36 months on station will not normally receive favorable consideration.  Any exception to this policy will be announced by MCBUL in the 1800/1900 series.
5.  Direct SNM report to local Security Manager to initiate single scope background investigation forms for TS access.  Delay authorized IAW MCO p1050.3 par 2009.  Current editions OF MCO P1000.6 par 4400, MCO p11000.22 and MCO p1300.8 apply.  JFTR chap 5 applies.  Notify this headquarters immediately if SNM is found unqualified.
6.  NLT 10 working days from the release of this message, all selectees are required to accept or decline their assignment by email via their PMOS monitor and the OLA point of contact listed above.
7.  Marines are encouraged to access the most current information on family member TRICARE Prime and transfer enrollment to the new region via the online website at www.tricare.mil/enrollment.
