GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This MARADMIN announces the 2017 Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE) National Training Program (NTP) 5-8 June 2017 at the We Ko Pa Resort and  Conference Center, 10438 N. Fort McDowell Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85264.
2.  SAIGE NTP advocates for American Indian and Alaska Native people in the Federal government workforce. Annually, the organization sponsors a National Training Program that promotes professional development, cultural awareness, and continuing education of government employees, to include Department of Defense (DoD) military and civilian employees. 
3.  Subject to conference approval, the Marine Corps will sponsor seven (7) members conference/registration fees only. Commanders may authorize travel and per diem utilizing command’s funding.  Local travel is authorized for members in the local area. All Marine Corps funded participation will be coordinated through the Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (MPE) Branch.
