GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Marine Corps terminated and decommissioned the eMarine program effective August 2016, and the eMarine.org domain is no longer in use as a Marine Corps affiliated web resource.  Although the “eMarine” name is trademarked by the Marine Corps, there is still a risk that the eMarine.org domain name could be purchased and re-registered by an unaffiliated entity to host any type of web content.
2.  All links to the eMarine.org domain name hosted on both official and unofficial Marine Corps sites must be removed.  Commanders, Family Readiness Officers, and all Marine Corps Community Services Sponsored Programs are required to remove all advertisements and links to eMarine from all .mil, .org, social media websites, and all unit family readiness information and or training materials by NLT 31 May 2017.
