GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  In accordance with reference A, Marine Week Detroit will be conducted from 6-10 September, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.
2.  Background. Marine Week is a week long series of events that showcases the United States Marine Corps each year in a different American city. As part of the program, the Marine Corps will celebrate community, country and Corps in our host city of Detroit through MAGTF demonstrations, static equipment and aircraft displays, and other events with the government, local businesses, and community organizations.
