GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration, has cancelled, effective 16 June 2017, Marine Corps Doctrinal Publication MCRP 10.10D.1 (formerly MCRP 3-17.2C), Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) dated 6 May 2015. The integrator, proponent, and publisher have determined that the relevant information is available in other publications. See paragraph 2 below for details.
2. Background. MCRP 10.10D.2 was a joint service doctrinal publication published jointly by the Marine Corps and the Air Land Sea Application Center (ALSA) intended to provide a single-source, consolidated reference for the tactical employment of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations in a joint environment. MCTP 10-10D MAGTF Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Joint Publication (JP) 3-42 Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal will provide the necessary doctrine for EOD operations.
3. Coordinating Instructions. Capability Development Directorate, MAGTF Integration Division will document this change in the next annual publication of MCBul 5603, Marine Corps Proponency Assignments, and will reflect this change on the Marine Corps doctrine website, https:(slant)(slant)doctrine.usmc.mil, and the sharepoint site https:(slant)(slant)ehqmc.usmc.mil/org/mccdc/cdd/mid/dcb/doct/default.aspx.
4. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
