GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Per the ref, HQMC, PPO, PS Division solicited nominations for the subject award and convened a selection board to determine this year’s award winner.
2.  The Francis D. Gill CBRN Defense Excellence Award winner is Corporal Devon M. Ward, 2d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
3.  The award will be mailed to the recipient’s parent command to be presented as the II MEF Commanding General deems appropriate.
4.  Congratulations to this Marine for a job well done.
