5.  Post School ADOS Opportunity.  The Director of Reserve Affairs (ICW DIR, MM) intends to globally source Active Component manpower shortfalls with recently school-trained Reserve Component officers. The billets will likely be at the HQMC, MEF and MARFOR level and will fill Staff/Planning role in order to allow officers to gain a valuable professional development and career-enhancing experience to complement their recent PME.  For those Officers who accept ADOS orders, the orders will run concurrent with the 24 month payback obligation associated with a funded Full Length School (FLS), meaning the obligation to affiliate with a drilling SMCR/IMA billet will be 12 months at the conclusion of the ADOS orders vice 24 months.
6.  Orders Processing
    a.  Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA), and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) officers.
        (1) Orders will be generated by the parent command using the Marine Corps Reserve Orders Writing System (MROWS).  To provide ample time for routing and travel coordination, orders should be initiated at least 90 days prior to the course convening date.
        (2) Funding for all PME will be provided by MARFORRES AC/S G-3 Training.  For activated officers attending non-resident courses or officers on active duty operational support orders, please contact the POC for this MARADMIN for further guidance.
        (3) The POC for IMA and IRR officers is the MARFORRES customer service center at (toll-free) 800-255-5082 or e-mail the organizational mailbox at csc@cdc.usmc.mil.
    b.  Active Reserve (AR) officers
        (1) Web Orders for AR officers attending FLS PME will be provided by their respective monitor at CMC (RA).
        (2) Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) orders for AR officers attending non-resident PME will be funded by MARFORRES AC/S G-3 Training.
        (3) The POC for IMA and IRR officers is the MARFORRES customer service center at (toll-free) 800-255-5082 or e-mail the organizational mailbox at csc@cdc.usmc.mil.
7.  Selected officers have been screened for eligibility.  Failure to maintain eligibility or meet orders issuance requirements 90 days prior to the course convening date could result in removal from the course.
8.  Individual Responsibilities
    a.  Ensure contact information remains current in MOL.
    b.  Per ref (b), officers selected for resident PME must have orders in hand prior to executing any portion of travel or movement. Commencement of travel must not occur prior to the dates prescribed on the orders.  Travel entitlements will be IAW ref (b).
    c.  Request cancellation or deferral in writing to CMC (RA) NLT 90 days prior to the course convening date.  Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
9.  The RAM-3 Career Advisory Cell provides Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) review and career counseling for all members of the Reserve Component (AR, SMCR, IMA, IRR). To request counseling services, send an email to “SMB_MANPOWER_CAC@usmc.mil” with your name, EDIPI, contact information and service you are requesting.  More information can be found by accessing www.manpower.usmc.mil.  Click on “Reserve Marine”, “Reserve Affairs (RA)”, “Personnel Management (RAM)”, “RAM-3”, and “Career Advisory Cell”.
