A firefighter helps a victim out of a simulated burning building. Some one hundred disaster responders and injured actors participated in a mass casualty exercise held on the flight line at the base. Several local hospitals also participated in the exercise held at March Air Reserve Base, California. An emergency medical crew from Mercy Air airlifted simulated casualties.
