GENTEXT/RMKS/1. Situation. Per the references, this MARADMIN announces the FY19 MCLOG Logistics Commanders Course. Reference (a) provides policy and assigns responsibilities for the execution and management of training and education in advanced logistics capabilities. Additionally, it describes how Marine Corps Logistics Forces leverage and synchronize current and emergent Service, Joint, interagency, commercial, and multi-national capabilities to provide rapid and precise logistics C2 and sustainment to the point of need.
2. Mission. During 19-21 March 2019, MCLOG will host the FY19 Logistics Commanders Course to provide training for logistics commanders and senior enlisted advisors in order to better prepare them to train, tactically employ, and lead their commands. This course provides a unique opportunity for discussion of best practices between current commanders and incoming commanders, as well as senior enlisted advisors. The goal of this course is to level set logistics commanders on current and developing logistics issues which will enhance their command tours and the support they provide.
3. Execution.
3.a. Commanders Intent.
3.a.1. Purpose. To enhance current logistics commanders and senior enlisted advisors ability to employ their units and leverage their experience to prepare those officers preparing to assume command of a logistics unit.
3.a.2. Method. Execute a 3-day course focused on specific logistics training and readiness issues currently affecting logistics commands. MCLOG will present and facilitate discussions that focus on readiness and employment of logistics units, with an emphasis on training management, material readiness and manpower. Additional presentations will include current doctrine and emerging concepts in logistics planning and execution. The seminar will include opportunities to engage with other senior leaders on topics of interest to logistics unit commanders.
3.a.3. End State. Logistics commanders and senior enlisted advisors who are better prepared to train, tactically employ, and lead their commands.
3.b. Concept of Operations. MCLOG will conduct the course at the Gray Research Center, MCB Quantico VA.
3.c. Coordinating instructions.
3.c.1. Eligibility. Command-slated and current Logistics Command Colonels, Lieutenant Colonels, and Sergeants Major.
3.c.2. FY19 course dates. This years MCLOG Logistics Commanders Course will be executed 19-21 March 2019. Travel days will be 18 and 22 March 2019.
3.c.3. Registration.

3.c.3.b. Registration deadline is 15 February 2019.
3.c.4. Agenda. A detailed course agenda will be published via email to registered attendees by 1 March 2019.
4. Admin and Logistics.

4.b. Lodging. There is a group reservation at The Crossroads Inn under MCLOG. Reservations must be made no later than 8 March 2019. After 8 March the group reservation will expire and billeting will be the responsibility of each attendee. 4.c. Messing. Government messing not required.
4.d. Funding. Course attendance is unit funded.

5. Command and Signal.
