GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  I am pleased to announce the Marine Corps recipient of the 2019 GEICO Military Service Awards, recognizing one active duty enlisted member from each military service for outstanding contributions to the civilian and/or military community in the areas of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention, Fire Safety and Fire Prevention, and Traffic Safety and Accident Prevention.
2.  The 2019 Marine Corps GEICO Military Service Award winner is Staff Sergeant Gregory Bogaczyk, Marine Aircraft Group 41, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Fort Worth Texas.  Staff Sergeant Bogaczyk's selection is based on his contributions to traffic safety and accident prevention within the military and civilian communities.
3.  Award recipients will be recognized at the 2019 GEICO Military Service Awards ceremony to be held in Washington, DC from 27-29 April 2019.  Administrative and logistical information will be provided separately by GEICO.
4.  All nominees are commended for the significant contributions they made towards their civilian and military communities in 2018.  Congratulations to all for a job well done!
