GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Reference (Ref) (a) expires on 23 February 2019.  This message announces the approved extension of ref (a) to February 2020 or until a new Marine Corps Order on Marine Corps Common Military Training replaces the current Marine Corps Bulletin (MCBUL) whichever occurs first.  The projected release for the new order is by the end of Calendar Year (CY) 2019.
2.  Extension of ref (a) allows Commanding General (CG), Training and Education Command (TECOM) (C466) time to coordinate with the Department of Defense’s Common Military Training Working Group to reconcile remaining common military training issues resulting from the recent Secretary of Defense-directed Readiness and Lethality Working Groups and time to staff the draft order to proponents and key stakeholders.
3.  Beginning in 2nd Quarter (Qtr) Fiscal Year (FY) 2019, CG, TECOM (C466) will staff the draft order to Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) proponents and key stakeholders for review and comment with adjudication and approval by the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration during 3rd Qtr FY 2019.  HQMC, Publishing and Logistics Management Branch will conduct a final format and legal review, and release the new order by the end of CY 2019.
