Grissom to be focus of Sunday morning radio program

News and information from Grissom ARB than impacts the local region will become a staple on a new radio program to be aired on WMYK, 98.5 FM,on Sunday mornings at 6 a.m.  The program, called  "Community Spotlight,"  will focus on Grissom ARB and its neighbor, the Grissom Aeroplex. 

This week's program will feature Lt. Col. Gary Lockard, chief of public affairs for Grissom ARB, discussing the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony for a new air traffic control tower and the vital support Grissom plays to military, civilian and commercial aviation in the region.

Current plans call for Community Spotlight to alternate each week between Grissom ARB and the Grissom Aeroplex.  "The timing for the program is perfect," stated Colonel Lockard.  "The public affairs staff had been looking at ways to add to Grissom's outreach and Community Spotlight will be a great addition to what we are currently doing with our Internet web site, Facebook page and Twitter account.."

WMYK's radio signal is heard throughout a number of areas including Howard, Miami, Cass, Wabash, Grant, Tipton, and Clinton counties.
