GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The Commandant of the Marine Corps congratulates the following individuals and units for selection as the award recipients of the 2018 United States Marine Corps Motor Transport Awards Program (MCMTAP) for the categories indicated. As specified in reference (a), an annual awards board comprised of senior Motor Transport Officers and SNCOs from HQMC I and L, MCCDC, I MEF, II MEF, III MEF, MARFORRES and TECOM convened to review nominations from throughout the Marine Corps and select award recipients. All those nominated are deserving of congratulations for their superior performance. Award recipients are: (read in three columns)

2. The sponsor for the 2018 awards is the Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCAF). Due to time constraints and prior discussions with the MCAF, an awards banquet will not be held. The absence of a formal awards banquet does not detract from the importance of the awards and the requirement to present in appropriate local ceremonies.
2.a I and II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) G-4 Motor Transport offices, MCCSSS and MCAGCC will coordinate with the local MCAF representative listed below for delivery of awards and follow-on presentation.
