GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This message announces the schedule of events and coordinating instructions for the CBRN Defense OAG 19-1, to be conducted 23-27 SEP 2019 in Quantico, VA.
2.  Background.  The CBRN defense OAG addresses operational challenges impacting the force from a CBRN perspective and emergent MAGTF CBRN defense issues that warrant DC PP and O attention.  The CBRN defense OAG is mission critical to address manning, training, and equipping the Marine Corps in CBRN defense, to preserve Marine Corps operational capability, and it is the vehicle for identifying and recommending issues and solutions that directly impact the CBRN community (MOS 5702/5769/5711) area of operational interest.  Due to space limitations, this year OAG is limited to attendance of voting members and standing non-voting members as listed in the OAG charter.
3.  Coordinating instructions.
3.a.  OAG meeting location:  day 1-5:  Heywood Hall 24164 Belleau Ave, Quantico, VA 22134 (bobo room)
3.b.  Attendees are encouraged to share transportation cost.
3.c.  Uniform:  attire for civilian attendees is business casual and for military is green MARPAT with sleeves up for all five days.
3.d.  Government messing is not available.  Participants are required to utilize government quarters if available.  When government quarters are not available, obtain a certificate of non-availability to book Commercial lodging.
3.e.  Visit requests are required in the joint personnel adjudication system (JPAS) prior to the event for participation in any classified briefs or discussions.  Participants must ensure visit request are submitted by their command security POC.  Security management office (SMO) code:  m30300/ purpose:  CBRN defense OAG 19-1/date:  23-27 Sep 2019/ level:  secret/ visit POC:  Demisha Gayton/phone:  (703)784-6651/ email:  demisha.gayton@usmc.mil.
3.f.  Information technology (IT) support.
3.f.1.  Briefers will be provided with access to a computer and overhead projection capabilities.  Briefs are due to message POC by 13 Sep 2019 and will be sourced from the pre-approved slide decks on the SharePoint.  Additional it support will not be provided.
3.f.2.  Voting members are encouraged to provide their own laptop computers to access read aheads, briefing materials, and to participate in online voting.
