GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This message announces the convening of the Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I) Information Summit and Information Awards dinner to be held 20-24 Apr 2020.  The theme will be combined arms and maneuver in the Information Environment.
2.  Ref A and B provide guidance on conferences.
3.  The Information Summit will be hosted by the DC I in the National Museum of the Marine Corps located at 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway, Triangle, VA 22172.
3.A.  The 2020 summit will consist of one day of plenary discussion, followed by three days of OAGs and senior leader briefings.  The summit will conclude on day five without briefs to the DC I.  End of summit will be 1200 Friday, 24 February 2020.
3.B.  Plenary briefs will include updates from the communities of interest as well as updates on joint partner efforts.
4.  The Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCA&F) Information Awards dinner will be held at 1730 on 23 April 2020 in the Crystal Gateway Marriot located at 1700 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA 22202.  The awards dinner will recognize individual and unit contributions made to the Marine Corps Information Environment Enterprise (MCIEE) throughout Calendar Year 2019.
