GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Marine Corps Association & Foundation (MCA&F) awards are administered by the Deputy Commandant for Information and consist of 15 individual awards, 3 unit/organization awards, and 1 individual or team award for the information communities comprised of Intelligence, C4, Cyber, Psychological Operations, Communication Strategy, Space, Electronic Warfare, and Civil Affairs.  The high quality of the nominees reflects the continued outstanding performance of all the Marines and Civilians throughout the Information Environment.  Congratulations to all the nominees and selectees for this year’s MCA&F Information Awards.
2.  I am pleased to announce the following selectees:
2.a.  The General Alfred M. Gray Award: Captain Richard Marshall, Marine Raider Regiment, Marine Forces Special Operations Command.
2.b.  The James Hamilton Information Technology (IT) Management Civilian Marine of the Year Award:  Mr. Chris Owens, Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command.

2.e.  The John J. Guenther Marine Corps Intelligence Civilian of the Year Award:  Ms. Karsta Toscano, Command Element-Intelligence Division Capabilities Development Directorate, Marine Corps Combat Development Command.
2.f.  The MGySgt Samuel C. Plott Marine Corps Intelligence Staff Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Award:  Staff Sergeant Saqib Khan, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command.
2.g.  The MSgt Charles C. Arndt Marine Corps Intelligence Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Award:  Sergeant Aja Mack, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command.
2.h.  The LCpl James E. Swain Marine Corps Intelligence Enlisted Marine of the Year Award:  Lance Corporal Cameron Shaver, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command.
2.i.  The Operations in the Information Environment Officer of the Year Award:  Captain Kevin Maenz, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command.
2.j.  The Operations in the Information Environment Civilian of the Year Award:  Mr. Lester Bosslet, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command.
2.k.  The Operations in the Information Environment Enlisted Marine of the Year Award:  Gunnery Sergeant William Correa, Marine Corps Information Operations Center.
2.l.  The LtCol Kevin M. Shea Memorial Unit of the Year Award:  Marine Raider Regiment S-6, Marine Forces Special Operations Command.
2.m.  The Intelligence Unit of the Year Award:  Second Intelligence Battalion, Second Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.
2.n.  The Operations in the Information Environment Unit of the Year Award:  Marine Corps Information Operations Center.
2.o.  The Marine Corps Information Environment Enterprise (MCIEE) Technical Leadership Award: First Lieutenant Joshua King, Fourth Marine Regiment, Third Marine Division, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.
2.p.  The Marine Corps Information Environment Enterprise Innovation Award:  Accelerator Team, Second Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.
3.  The Information Awards selectees will be honored at the annual MCA&F Information Awards Dinner.  The Dinner has been temporarily postponed and is scheduled to be held at a later date.  Once determined, the coordinating instructions will be announced via a separate MARADMIN.
