GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Per reference (a), the 2611, 1711, and 1721 Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) required a General Technical (GT) score of 110 or higher and Cyber Test score of 60 or higher in Fiscal Year (FY) 2019. Upon further evaluation by Marine Corps Recruiting Command and Manpower and Reserve Affairs, the MOS prerequisites contained in reference (b) for the 2611, 1711, and 1721 MOS should reflect the same standard. These changes to reference (b) are approved in coordination with Training and Education Command and effective immediately. Additionally, these changes are reflected in the draft FY21 MOS Manual.
1.a. The 2611 MOS has a prerequisite (3122.2.b.5) of a Cyber Test score of 60 or higher.
1.b. The 1711 MOS has a prerequisite (3118.2.b.6) of a GT score of 110 or higher.
1.c. The 1721 MOS has a prerequisite (3118.3.b.3) of a Cyber Test score of 60 or higher.
