GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  To inform Commanding Officers of required changes to the FY20 SRB Program in order to support continuing force shaping efforts.
2.  Background.  Reference (a) has been in effect since 19 December 2019.  Reference (d) has been in effect since 21 April 2020.
3.  Action.  Commanding Officers will ensure their Marines fully understand the policy changes published in this message.  All of the other provisions of the references remain in effect.
4.  Per references (b) and (c),this message serves as the 30 day notification for the termination of the FY20 SRB program which will occur on 30 June 2020.  Marines with an ECC during FY20 will no longer be eligible for an SRB if submitting after 30 June 2020.  A FY20 ECC is defined as:  Any Marine who has an ECC on the date of reenlistment between 1 October 2019 and 30 September 2020.
5.  This cancellation also applies to Marines eligible for SRB amounts from 24 month extensions as detailed in reference (d).  Marine eligible for incentives detailed in reference (d) will remain eligible to submit until 30 June 2020.  Marines eligible for bonuses under the terms detailed in reference (d) should refer to future SRB MARADMINS for updates to eligibility criteria.  Prorated bonus amounts prescribed in the upcoming FY21 SRBP MARADMIN, if any, are anticipated to apply to FY20 eligible Marines described in reference (d) until 30 September 2020.  All other terms of reference (d) remain in effect until 30 September 2020.
6.  This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve.
7.  This MARADMIN cancels on 30 September 2020.
