GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Risk Management Information (RMI) Streamlined Incident Reporting (SIR) is scheduled for release throughout the naval enterprise on 31 August 2020.  RMI SIR, will replace a number of legacy reporting systems to include Web-Enabled Safety System (WESS), Enterprise Safety Application Management System (ESAMS), various shipyard databases, and other standalone systems.  RMI SIR will deliver improved safety capabilities to the fleet by providing relevant information and actionable safety data for managing risk and for making data-driven risk based decisions.
2.  The Naval Safety Center will provide RMI SIR familiarization training via 41 scheduled online sessions.  Training will cover a variety of topics, to include but not limited to, instruction on RMI SIR account access, accounts management, entering mishaps and recommendations, memorandum of final evaluation, basic analytics, and generating basic business intelligence reports.  These live, interactive, and recorded sessions are scheduled for 8 hours, 0800-1630 unless otherwise indicated, and will start promptly at 0800 local for each respective time zone.  All safety professionals, safety specialists and collateral duty safety professionals, are strongly encouraged to attend.
