GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Attention Marine Aviators:  The Marine Corps needs you to return to Active Duty for 24, 36, or 48 months.  This MARADMIN announces the FY21 Interim Return to Active Duty (RAD) Board, specifically soliciting Marine Aviators to apply to return to service in the active component.  Selectees are immediately eligible for the Active Duty FY21 Aviation Bonus, worth up to $100k.  Eligible officers in the Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), and Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Detachments should review this unique opportunity and the listed references in detail to determine eligibility.  Commanding officers shall ensure this order is brought to the attention of all officers eligible for consideration.  In addition, request the Commander, Marine Corps Forces Reserve, ensure that eligible officers in the ready reserve are informed of their opportunity to apply for return to active duty as detailed within reference (a).
1.a.  Aviators not currently in the SMCR, IRR, or an IMA Det, may apply once they affiliate with a Reserve component and are encouraged to start this process now to ensure eligibility for this and future boards.  For assistance, contact MMOA-2 at smb_officer_aviation@usmc.mil.
2.  The Interim Return to Active Duty Board will convene on or about 9 November 2020.  All officers holding the grade/MOS listed below are eligible to apply (read in two columns)

2.a.  RAD applicants shall be considered in PMOS fields for which they are already qualified.
2.b.  RAD applicants shall indicate a service obligation preference of 24, 36, or 48 months on active duty.  Packages indicating a longer service obligation may be given higher priority for consideration during the RAD Board.
2.c.  Selectees receiving 24 or 36 month obligations will start their obligation after completion of refresher training at the Fleet Replacement Squadron or flight school instructor training syllabus as applicable.
2.d.  Selectees receiving 36 month or 48 month service obligations will be eligible for the FY21 Aviation Bonus.  Depending on PMOS and contract length, these bonuses are worth up to $100K.  Reference MARADMIN 514-20 for specific details.
2.e.  Officers selected for RAD not previously career designated will automatically be career designated.
2.f. Officers selected for RAD will work with their PMOS monitors for follow on orders.  Applicants should expect to fill 75XX billets in the fleet and supporting establishment. 
3.  Application Criteria.
3.a.  Applications will be made by AA form or naval letter and addressed to CMC (MMOA-3). 
3.b.  In accordance with the intent of enclosure (3) of reference (a), applications will include the following:

4.  Coordinating Instructions.  All RAD submissions shall be received by MMOA-3 no later than 6 November 2020.  RAD applicants currently within the Active Reserve Program shall contact Reserve Affairs prior to application submission to confirm eligibility.  Email completed RAD applications to smbmanpowerofficerpr@usmc.mil.
