GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Director, Aviation Combat Element/Maritime Expeditionary Warfare (ACE/MExW) Division, Capabilities Development Directorate, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration, approved Marine Corps Tactical Publication (MCTP) 13-10C, Unit Embarkation, on 27 October 2020.  MCTP 13-10C is available for download via the United States Marine Corps doctrine website at https:(slant)(slant)homeport.usmc.mil/sites/mcdoctrine/SitePages/Home.aspx.
2.  Background.  Effective 8 July 2020, the Commanding General, Training and Education Command (CG TECOM) authorized select O-6 commanders, directors, and special staff to manage, author, and approve the doctrine and training publications assigned to them to make their publications more relevant and timely.  CG TECOM assigned ACE/MExW Division, Capabilities Development Directorate to manage this publication.
3.  MCTP 13-10C addresses the doctrine, techniques, and procedures for effectively executing unit embarkation operations.  The target audience is noncommissioned officers (NCOs) and officers in the mobility/embarkation military occupational specialty and other NCOs/ officers assigned unit embarkation responsibilities.  This publication supersedes MCTP 13-10C, Unit Embarkation Handbook, dated 29 July 2013 with Erratum 2 May 2016.
4.  Coordinating instructions.  This publication will be disseminated via electronic distribution only.  Units requiring print allocations must follow procedures identified in reference (a), paragraph 4.a(2). For Marine Corps Publication Distribution System identification purposes, the publication control number is 147 000004 00.  MCTP 13-10C is Distribution A:  Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited.
5.  This MARADMIN is applicable to Marine Corps Total Force.
