The FY21-01 Test Pilot School selection board convened on 17 December 2020 aboard NAS Patuxent River to select primary and alternate officers to attend the US Naval Test Pilot School (NTPS) Class 161 and US Air Force Test Pilot School (AFTPS) Class 21-B. 2. The quantity and type, model, series (T/M/S) selection for Pilot, NFO and UAS applicants is based upon anticipated testing requirements for aircraft procurement programs. Because testing requirements change, the quantity and T/M/S to be selected can and does change up to the date of the board. For this reason, all interested pilots and NFOs were encouraged to submit packages. Officers who submitted packages but were not selected and desire to be considered on future boards are required to re-submit their application, including online applications, all required enclosures and command endorsements. 7.
