GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  It is with great pleasure that I congratulate the Marines and Sailors of the 4th Marine Logistics Group on your 55th anniversary.  Since its activation on 1 February 1966, the 4th MLG has provided a ready and highly skilled source of sustained combat service support for Marines.
2.  The Marines and Sailors of 4th MLG have built a longstanding tradition of rising to any challenge in any clime or place.  Those serving today continue that tradition of excellence by answering our Nation’s call with the same skill and professionalism as their predecessors.
3.  As you celebrate this occasion, all Marines and Sailors join you in honoring the service and sacrifices of all those who serve the 4th MLG, our Corps, and our Nation with pride and distinction.
