GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  I have approved the selection of Major Michael H. Nolan, 2d Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, MARFORPAC, as the recipient of the CY2020 Leftwich Trophy For Outstanding Leadership for Performance while serving as a company commander within 1st Marine Division.  As expected, the competition was exceptionally keen.  All nominees had exemplary records which indicated noteworthy leadership and command ability.
