GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Per reference (a), as a requirement for the 1721 Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS), Marines must complete the Cyber Common Technical Core (CCTC) Course (CID: A09BNO2), at Fort Gordon, GA.  This requirement remains valid and unchanged.  Marines will continue to attend CCTC in Fiscal Year (FY) 2021.
2.  CCTC was recently updated to include four additional weeks of training.  This updated course is titled the Cyber Operations Specialist Course (COSC) (CID: A09BNV2) at Fort Gordon, GA.  Marines will begin attending the updated COSC in FY21.  For FY21, either CCTC or COSC will satisfy MOS granting criteria for the 1721 PMOS.  Starting in FY22, CCTC will no longer be offered.  In FY22, the 1721 PMOS will require the Joint Cyber Analysis Course and COSC as the PMOS granting training pipeline.
3.  This change was made in coordination with Training and Education Command.  The below change will be reflected in the FY22 MOS Manual.
3.a.  1721 MOS (3118.3.c.2) Complete the Cyber Operations Specialist Course (COSC) (CID: A09BNV2), Ft Gordon, GA.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
