GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Situation.  This MARADMIN provides readiness reporting instructions specific to Force Design 2030 implementation.  To assist in the rapid lookup and analysis, an ad hoc dataset has been created, providing commanders with the opportunity to capture Force Design 2030 implementation issues, impacts, and concerns IAW ref a and b.
2.  Reporting guidance and instructions.
2.A.  Reporting guidance.  Commanders may utilize ad hoc report to identify Force Design 2030 implementation issues that are negatively affecting unit readiness.
2.B.  Reporting instructions.  In DRRS, when a unit creates and is preparing an in progress report, the “ad hoc datasets” is a menu option that is the second item under the “unit info” tab.  After clicking on the ad hoc datasets, select Force Design 2030 Implementation Issues from the drop down list of available datasets.  A row will appear below and the following columns will be available for use.
2.B.1.  Personnel (Yes/No).
2.B.2.  Equipment (Yes/No).
2.B.3.  Training (Yes/No).
2.B.4.  Facilities (Yes/No).
2.B.5.  Other (Yes/No).
2.C.  In each applicable column, input “Yes” if unit is negatively affected by current Force Design 2030 Implementation or “No” if it is not.
2.D.  Remarks.  Ensure each “Yes” is addressed within remarks.
2.E.  Force Design 2030 Implementation Issues report scenario and example.
2.E.1.  Scenario example.  A Unit’s Table of Organization (T/O) and Table of Equipment (T/E) has been updated to reflect changes attributed to Force Design 2030 implementation.  T/O personnel requirements have increased, but unit has not received any additional personnel.  Unit is in possession of new equipment recently added to the T/E, but does not have adequate facilities to store and maintain equipment.
2.E.2.  Report example.  The commander identifies impacts and concerns involving personnel, equipment, and facilities, inputting “Yes” into the matching columns within the report.  The details of situation, impacts, and concerns are then provided within remarks.
