GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  To continue the suspension of requirements to perform specific duties for receipt of hazardous duty incentive pays (HDIP).
2.  Background.  Due to the effects of COVID-19, Marines receiving HDIP may be unable to perform the required duties through no fault of their own.  Ref (a) extends authorization to suspend the requirement to perform specific duties and allow Marines to continue to receive HDIP.  Ref (c) suspended the performance requirements from 1 September 2020 through 28 February 2021.
3.  Policy.  Effective 1 March 2021, the suspension of the duties described in paragraph 4.K.7 of ref (d) remains in effect through 30 November 2021 or until rescinded, whichever occurs first.
4.  This MARADMIN applies to active and reserve component Marines.
