GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This Message announces the remaining Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) reserve component class dates for the Regional Staff Noncommissioned Officer Academies (SNCOAs).  These classes will be conducted at reduced capacity while Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) mitigation measures are in place.  The school dates are posted on the College of Enlisted Military Education (CEME) website under the Enlisted College Calendar link.

3.  Background.  Marine Corps University lists the FY21 reserve component class dates for the SNCOAs via CEME website at https:  (slant slant)www.usmcu.edu/ceme under Academic Calendar.
4.  Coordinating Instructions
4.A.  The current version of the command screening checklist reference (d) can be downloaded from the Enlisted College website, under the Education Resources section.  The current version of reference (d) is dated October 2018.  Previous versions are no longer valid and will not be accepted.
4.B.  Commanders/Inspector-Instructors (I-Is) must review all packages and sign the command screening checklist within 90 days of the school report date.  Checklists that are not signed by the Commander/I-Is will be rejected and result in the Marine being disenrolled from the school.  Commanders/I-Is who fail to properly complete the command screening checklist and send unqualified Marines will be notified in a letter of noncompliance via the chain of command.
4.C.  School Prerequisites
4.C.1.  The prerequisites for all schools are located on the CEME website in the Reporting Instructions section for each regional academy.
4.C.2.  Duty Status.  Sergeants, Career, and Advanced School students may attend in a limited duty or pregnancy status with waivers that have been approved by the Director, CEME.  See the instructions contained in reference (d) for specific guidance.
4.D.  School Registration
4.D.1.  Units must submit their nominations through their respective Major Subordinate Command (MSC) representative for registration in Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS).  All nominations, regardless of location, must be received by the respective MSC no later than 45 days prior to the class report date.
4.D.2.  Students who have been registered in MCTIMS, but can no longer attend a scheduled school, must have their registration cancelled within the MCTIMS student registrar module.  Cancelling a student’s registration is the unit S-3/G-3 responsibility and shall be coordinated with the respective MSC representative.
4.E.  Appropriation Data
4.E.1.  Professional Military Education (PME) remains a priority and responsibility of Marine Force Reserve (MFR) G-3.  School orders will be used and routed through MFR G-3.  Annual Training orders should not be used for PME.
4.E.2.  Rental cars are not authorized.
4.E.3.  Marine Reserve Order Writing System will be routed to MFR G-3 NLT 30 working days prior to the school report date.
4.E.4.  Additional Marine Reserve Order Writing System appropriation data can be found in Reserve School Registration on the CEME website at https:  (slant slant)www.usmcu.edu/ceme/registration.
5.  Amplifying Instructions
5.A.  Specific instructions regarding reporting, uniforms, times, gear lists, school materials, messing instructions, and billeting availability is accessible via the CEME website.

5.C.  Students are encouraged to review the CEME website for any additional information.

7.  This message is only applicable to the Select Marine Corps Reserve, Individual Ready Reserves, and Individual Mobilization Augmentee components of the Marine Corps Reserve.
