GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This MARADMIN announces the publication of MCO 5530.13, Marine Corps Site Perimeter Access Control.
2. Background. MCO 5530.13 updates, consolidates, and aligns existing Marine Corps site perimeter access control policy with federal laws and Department of Defense policy. MCO 5530.13 further supplements references (a) and (b) with updated perimeter access control requirements outlined in reference (c).
3. This order is effective immediately and can be found at the following link https:(slash)(slash)www.marines.mil/News/Publications/MCPEL/Electronic-Library-Display/Article/2604669/mco-553013/.
4. Commanders will ensure widest dissemination. Site commanders will establish and maintain a site perimeter access control program that encompasses requirements of this Order.
5. This MCO supersedes any conflicting portion of references (a) and (b) and cancels MARADMIN 533-08, 595-18, 713-19, and 071-20.

7. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
