GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  To announce the 2021 Liz Blanc Exceptional Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) of the Year.  Congratulations to Mrs. Yiralys Suarez, U.S Marine Corps, Training Command, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools for her selection as the Marine Corps 2021 Liz Blanc Exceptional SARC of the Year.
2.  Background.  The Department of Defense Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Office annually recognizes individuals whose work has been particularly noteworthy and demonstrates outstanding service in support of victims of sexual assault and the Marine Corps SAPR program.
3.  Mrs. Suarez’s creativity, knowledge, and passion for sexual assault prevention has increased the visibility of the SAPR program and has raised awareness of the services provided.  Mrs. Suarez, who has been with the SAPR program since 2019, has established and maintained a high-caliber SAPR program that supports the Marines at 2nd marine Division and Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools.
4.  This MARADMIN is canceled 30 June 2021.
