GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Per reference (c), the Special Technical Operations Free MOS (8016) selection panel was held from 31 May to 4 June 2021. The panel reviewed 27 applications and selected 20 Marines. Based on the training, operational experience, and STO planning expertise the below listed Marines are approved for the assignment of the Special Technical Operations Planner Free MOS, as indicated below (read in six columns):

2. Marines are reminded to submit this resulting MARADMIN to their local IPAC, which will run the appropriate entry into the Marines' Official Military Personnel File to reflect the FMOS.
3. Commanders are encouraged to consider utilizing Marines with the 8016 FMOS in accordance with reference (a) to provide material contribution to USMC IJSTO efforts through real-world operations, exercise support, crisis contingency, or deliberate planning efforts. Coordinating with the local MEF/MARFOR STO Chief will increase effectiveness of those holding the FMOS 8016.
