GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This MARADMIN announces the publication of MCO 5580.7, U.S. Marine Corps Criminal Investigation Division (CID).
2.  Background.  MCO 5580.7 implements policy and procedures for the organization, training, and employment of CID personnel and assets in the Fleet Marine Force and Supporting Establishment.  MCO 5580.7 is supplemented by Reference (A) until further CID orders can be published.

4.  Commanders will ensure widest dissemination.  Installation Commanders will ensure Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Departments are in compliance with this order.
