GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This MARADMIN announces the results of the FY21 Francis D. Gill CBRN Excellence Award.
2. Background. This award was established to recognize outstanding performance of Non-Commissioned Officers in the CBRN Defense occupational field, and note the contributions of Non-Commissioned Officers in the development of esprit de corps, loyalty, and mission accomplishment within their units and the CBRN Defense communities.
3. Nominations from the Fleet Marine Forces and supporting establishment were considered, with each demonstrating the consistent high level of performance befitting Marine Corps Non-Commissioned Officers. Corporal Alyssa K. Arredondo, Headquarters Battalion, 3d Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force has been selected as the recipient of the FY2021 Francis D. Gill CBRN Excellence Award.
4. Congratulations to Corporal Alyssa K. Arredondo and all nominees, as your contributions are vital to the success of your units and the broader Marine Corps mission.
