GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (NFDS)Blue Angels may select:  one Marine Corps F/A-18 Demonstration Pilot for the 2023-2025 show seasons and one C-130 Demonstration Pilot for the 2023-2025 show seasons.
2.  Interested officers should submit applications per reference (a) by 30 April 2022.  Applicants must contact their monitor to determine eligibility prior to beginning the application process.  Final selections will be made in July 2022.
3.  Qualifications.  Applicants should be career-oriented, active-duty commissioned officers with the following specific qualifications:
3.a.  F/A-18 Demonstration Pilot applicants must be carrier qualified tactical jet pilots with approximately 1,250 hours of total jet flight time by 30 September of the year applying, and have completed an operational fleet tour.
3.b.  C-130 Demonstration Pilot applicants must have an aircraft commander rating in the C-130J and should have approximately 1,200 hours of flight time.
3.c.  Applicants shall have completed 24 months time-on-station (TOS) by 1 September 2022. Additionally, applicants currently assigned OCONUS shall complete their Tour Control Factor by 1 September 2022 to be eligible.  Applicants must notify their PMOS monitor and receive email confirmation confirming they meet TOS requirements to include in their application.
4.  Selectees will be approved by MMOA prior to public notification.  Pilots will be required to remain on active duty for two years following completion of their assignment with the Blue Angels.
