GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The 42nd Executive Safety Board (ESB) will convene on 6 April 2022 from 2000-2130 (GMT) to discuss current and future service-wide safety initiatives as well as evaluate the safety culture within the Marine Corps.
2. The Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps will chair the board. The Director of the Commandant of the Marine Corps Safety Division (CMC SD) will act as the recorder, lead the presentations, provide updates on recent mishaps, and review lessons learned and potential trends. ESB members will be provided information on five topics: FY21 Mishap Statistics High Risk Training Safety Population within the Marine Corps Government Accountability Office Report on Tactical Vehicle Accidents Naval Safety Command Transition
3. The members of the ESB are: Director, Marine Corps Staff Deputy Commandant, Plans, Policies and Operations Deputy Commandant, Programs and Resources Deputy Commandant, Installations and Logistics Deputy Commandant, Manpower & Reserve Affairs Deputy Commandant, Aviation Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration Deputy Commandant, Information Commanding General, Training and Education Command Commander, Marine Forces Command/North Commander, Marine Forces Pacific Commander, Marine Forces Reserve/South Commanding General, I Marine Expeditionary Force Commanding General, II Marine Expeditionary Force Commanding General, III Marine Expeditionary Force Commander, Marine Forces Central Commander, Marine Forces Europe/Africa Commander, Marine Forces Special Operations Command Commander, Marine Forces Cyber/Space Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruiting Command Commanding General, Marine Corps Logistics Command Commander, Marine Corps Installations Command Commander, Marine Corps Systems Command Inspector General of the Marine Corps Staff Judge Advocate, HQMC Commander, Marine Corps Installations – West Commander, Marine Corps Installations – East Commander, Marine Corps Installations – Pacific Director, Health Services Director, Marine and Family Programs Director, Communication Directorate Chaplain of the Marine Corps Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps
4. The adjunct (non-voting) members of the ESB are the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Installation, Energy, and Facilities Commander, Naval Safety Command
5. CMC SD will disseminate read-ahead products no later than10 March 2022. CMC SD will provide ESB coordinating instructions via separate correspondence.
