GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  During March 2022, a non-statuatory awards board reviewed more than 80 nominations spanning eight award categories announced in reference (a).  Amongst a field of highly qualified and truly outstanding nominees, the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs takes pleasure in congratulating the following recipients of the 2021 Marine Corps Manpower, Personnel and Administration Awards Program:
1.a.  Civilian Administrator of the Year:  Ms. Megan Perkins (MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC)
1.b.  Civilian Analyst of the Year:  Ms. Katherine Leibenguth (MARFORSOC, Camp Lejeune, NC)
1.c.  Marine of the Year:  Cpl Jasmin DavilaJuarez, (HQHQRON, MCAS Iwakuni, JA)
1.d.  Noncommissioned Officer of the Year:  Sgt Batul Dessouky (HQSVC BN, HQMC, Arlington, VA)
1.e.  Staff Noncommissioned Officer of the Year:  1stSgt Peter Cote (10th MarRegt, 2d MarDiv, CamLej, NC)

2.  Coordination will be made with respective commanders for delivery of award materials.
