GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This MARADMIN is to inform Commanders, Deputy Commandants and Staff that reference (a) has been extended until January 2023. During this extension period, the update of reference (b) will incorporate enduring policy requirements establishing a codified, standardized, and repeatable process to identify, assess, prioritize, and reduce cyber-related risk in weapon systems and their critical supporting infrastructure. IAW directives process, MCO 3058.1 will be appropriately staffed to permanently implement the requirements and guidance set forth in reference (a). Reference (a) will remain in effect until policy pertaining to Mission Focused Cyber Hardening is published.
