GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  This message announces the recipients of the 2021 Jim Kallstrom Awards and the Marine Corps Security and Emergency Services (S/ES) Civilian Awards.  Reference (a) announced the CY2021 Kallstrom and Security-Emergency Services Civilian Awards and solicited nominees.
2.  The following awardees should take pride in their selection for these awards, as they are based on their outstanding professional competence and exemplary leadership skills.
2.A.  The Jim Kallstrom Award for outstanding leadership is awarded to Major Juan Diaz, Provost Marshal Office, Security and Emergency Services Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA.
2.B.  The Jim Kallstrom Award for bravery is awarded to Sergeant Leilana Tupuarodriguez, Provost Marshal Office, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Camp Lejeune, NC.
2.C.  The S/ES Civilian Marine of the Year Award recipient is Lieutenant Timothy M. Helm, Provost Marshal Office, MCAS Beaufort, SC.
2.D.  The recipient of the S/ES Civilian Lifesaving Award is Sergeant Yaneri Ramirez, Security and Emergency Services Battalion, MCB Camp Pendleton, CA.
3.  Awardees and their commands will be contacted via SEPCOR for award presentation and coordinating instructions.
